With Hulu’s The Orville: new horizons ready for launch on June 2, here’s a preview of the official trailer:
Speaking with Express.co.uk, Chad L.Coleman had some interesting Klyden-related teases to offer viewers, including some pretty intense moments between Klyden and Bortus (Macon):
Klyden and Bortus seek advice: After realizing that “divorce” means having to kill your spouse, the two will be in couples counseling and “slowly begin to patch up their relationship”. But that won’t be the only personal drama Klyden will face. “[There’s] serious drama for Klyden that will shake people up. And all my Moclan family. And going through the whole crew, period,” Coleman added.
Coleman thinks fans will see the wait was worth it: “I can’t wait [the new season]. It’s the best. I know people say, ‘What else are you going to say?’ I’m like, ‘No, honestly.’ It’s like we never get the chance to do this again, we better do everything we can. And, it is truly breathtaking. This season is going to be breathtaking, for real. Incredibly epic. The special effects – everything is bigger and better. If you never see us again, you will never forget us.”
Here’s a preview of MacFarlane’s tweet giving more details about the delay and appreciating fans’ patience:

With a new home and new missions, here’s a throwback to Hulu’s teaser The Orville: new horizonsSet to hit viewers’ streaming screens on June 2, 2022:
During Hulu’s Television Critics Association (TCA) session in August 2021, Helman revealed that he had seen cuts from the third season. And while there was no premiere date to be announced at the time, Helman hoped the wait wouldn’t be much longer – and from what he’d seen, it looked like the the wait would be worth it. “The past year and a half has been complicated on many levels with regards to production. I can’t share a launch date, but we’re really excited with what we’ve seen so far,” said Helman . Hollywood Deadline (while also confirming that MacFarlane and Jon Cassar would direct episodes). As for the future of the popular sci-fi series, Helman was keeping all options on the table because “the future of the series remains an open conversation and there hasn’t been a conversation otherwise.” But things look a little different eight months later, with Hollywood Deadline reporting that “there are no current plans for a fourth season”. Now, while that’s not vastly different from what Helman had to say in 2021, the report went on to add that the cast would have been “out in August when their most recent options expired.” But that said, apparently the third season is “not intended as a definitive end to the series” and the franchise will be open enough for MacFarlane to return if he chooses (although that would require reassembling the cast and a new contract offers).
